Simple and Delicious Avocado Toast Recipe


Ingredients:

  • 2 slices of whole grain bread

  • 1 ripe avocado

  • 1 lemon, juiced

  • Salt, to taste

  • Pepper, to taste

  • Optional toppings: cherry tomatoes, red onion, smoked salmon, feta cheese, fresh basil, etc.

Instructions:

  1. Toast the bread to your desired level of crispiness.

  2. In a small bowl, mash the avocado with a fork or potato masher until smooth.

  3. Stir in the lemon juice, salt, and pepper.

  4. Spread the avocado mixture onto the toast slices.

  5. Add any desired toppings, such as cherry tomatoes, red onion, smoked salmon, feta cheese, fresh basil, etc.

  6. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Note: For extra creaminess, add a dollop of Greek yogurt or a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil on top of the avocado toast.
